The ApoRed Haircut: The YouTuber's Hair Styling
Social media content matters more every year. Classic TV and radio advertising is a comparatively small factor now when it comes to influencing the person watching or listening. Influencer is the word. Younger generations in particular, the ones who grew up with digital media along the lines of Facebook or YouTube, have less and less appetite for the older channels. The internet and its platforms, meanwhile, keep gaining ground. There's no end in sight. All of which means anyone now has a shot at becoming a name. That's how today's subject, German YouTuber ApoRed, managed it. So today we'll cover a bit of background on him and, in this Charlemagne Premium blog post, mainly break down how his hair is cut and styled. Let's start at the beginning.
ApoRed? Who is that, exactly?
German YouTuber ApoRed, real name Nadim Ahadi, earns his living making video content on YouTube. He landed in the headlines, and picked up a certain level of fame, by publishing controversial prank videos, which even got him a suspended sentence. He started out with so-called "Let's Play" videos covering all sorts of more or less current video games, and today appears alongside well known YouTubers such as Simon Desue. He got properly famous for videos in which he had himself locked into a cinema or a furniture store overnight, without asking first. Broadly: decent bloke, good content.
So what's going on with the ApoRed haircut?
It's fair to say ApoRed pays attention to how he looks. The evidence is that much talked about haircut, paired with his more or less full three day stubble.
The ApoRed haircut is a modified Fasson cut, the German name for a tapered cut, taken into undercut territory with a hard cut through the sides.
The hair on top is left loose, and as professionals we'd read that as top hair styled with hair wax. The Fasson cut, also written Facon, is a haircut you can take in a lot of individual directions, and here that individuality comes from a drastic cut towards an undercut. The hard cut transition from the top to the side hair, the Fasson line itself, is what defines it. A cut placed in that area gives the look the distinctiveness a YouTuber needs to stand out from the crowd visually.
If you're planning to follow your YouTube idol's lead and wear a cut like this one, your trusted barber is the person to talk to. With photos and this Charlemagne Premium blog post, he'll get you a good way towards the look. And since we assume you want the whole package, you'll of course find the right beard grooming tools and care products in our Charlemagne Premium shop, because:
„A healthy and well groomed beard is important for a real man, that's why we offer everything you need to keep yours doing so.“

As barbers with more than 20 years in the trade between us, we went looking for styling and care products that convinced us completely. There were some good products out there, but none that gave us everything we needed. After some thought, in 2014 we decided to develop our own range. For two years we spent every free minute after work at the barbershop down in our cellar, refining the formulas. When it came to ingredients, only the best was good enough. We bought the finest jojoba oils available in Morocco, and argan oil from Italy.
After two years and a good many attempts, our first product line was ready, and it has been winning our customers over ever since. We think 98% positive reviews speak for themselves. Since the official launch in 2016 we've kept developing it, of course. That's one of the reasons Charlemagne Premium products have won not just one but several comparison tests in recent years.
You'll find all our products right here in our online store. For any questions about them, you can reach us any time at info@charlemagne-premium.com.
